If a program is cancelled by Lauralton Hall, full payment will be refunded or an alternative class will be offered. If a participant is withdrawn from a program by his or her parents for any reason at any time after registration, a full refund less a $50 processing fee for each program will be issued. If a participant is dismissed from a program for disciplinary reasons, no refund will be issued.

All discounts must be applied at the time of class selection and cannot be applied retroactively.

All changes made to individual camp enrollment after each session begins will incur a $25 processing fee.

Inappropriate use of discount codes will incur $25 processing fee in addition to the reversal of the discount.

Art-tastic!

Back by popular demand, this course will allow your campers to work on a variety of projects over the course of the session and will be provided the opportunity to express themselves through clay modeling, paper mache, painting and so much more. Projects differ each week to keep your camper engaged for a full summer of fun!

Session 6: July 31st - August 4th | 9 am - 1 pm

 

Baking: Breads, Scones and Sweets

Through this NEW course, campers will make a variety of delicious baked goods, from scones, cakes, breads, cupcakes, cookies and more! Campers will also be exposed to a variety of techniques and different recipes. Your child will come home daily with delicious treats along with a personalized cookbook!

Session 2: July 3rd - 7th | 1 pm - 4 pm

 

Brain Games

Playing is a great way for children to learn. If your child enjoy puzzles and word games, this course is a great way to give your students brains a work out. Campers will explore puzzles and complete challenges while developing skills such as logical reasoning and lateral thinking. Through board games, puzzles, word games, and electronic games, your child is guaranteed to have fun!

Creative Chemistry

In this popular course, campers are encouraged to get messy while having fun exploring the world of science. Throughout the week, campers will make their own playdough, learn how different materials react to each other and so much more! This hands on course will give campers a practical look into the field of chemistry.

Creative Cupcakes

Through this course, your little baker will learn a variety of cupcake recipes including homemade frosting. Students will learn the importance of measurements and kitchen safety. Your baker will come home with a variety of cupcakes and frosting concoctions daily! At the end of the week, each camper will go home with a personalized cookbook and a handmade cupcake tower.

Crusaders Cheerleaders

Lauralton Hall Cheerleaders along with our head instructor will guide your child on the proper techniques for cheering, including tumbling and team building. Let your child have some fun and learn new cheers with members of the Lauralton Hall Cheerleading team! Camp will end with a Friday performance of your camper’s new skills and confidence through a variety of cheers and routines!

Session 4: July 17th - 21st | 9 am - 1 pm

 

Escape the Room!

In this NEW and exciting program, campers will participate in live action, team-based games where they discover clues, solve puzzles and accomplish tasks in one or more rooms to accomplish a specific goal! This program is guaranteed fun and will help foster your camper’s creativity, problem solving skills, and communication skills! Campers will attempt to “escape” puzzles daily and will even create their own for their families to try to escape at the end of the end of the week!

Hot off the Press!

This course allows your students to become engaged in the writing process. Campers will learn some of the techniques involved with journalism and work throughout the week to create their own newspaper to share with you!

Innovation Station

Through this NEW inquiry based class, campers will get the opportunity to create solutions and test them in daily engineering challenges in our NEW innovation lab! Campers will explore the fascinating yet practical world of mechanical, electrical and civil engineering. Using 3D printers, circuits and so much, this course is hands on and non-stop fun! Through individual and group challenges, campers will strengthen their problem solving skills by building bridges, saving pets from burning buildings, and creating marble coasters, just to name a few of the great activities of the week.

International Junior Chef

In this NEW course, your mini chef will be exposed to recipes from around the world. This will provide your camper to learn about different spices, ingredients and cultures from a variety of global locations. Campers will come home daily with treats and your child will leave camp with a cookbook full of the recipes along with a personalized item for the kitchen.

Session 5: July 24th - 28th | 9 am - 1 pm

 

Junior CSI

In this NEW camp, your child will be summoned to various staged crime scenes where they will work on collecting evidence in the hopes of solving a crime. Campers will use biology, chemistry, mathematics and deductive reasoning to learn how to collect and analyze fingerprints, lip prints, conducting hair and hand writing analysis and so much more! In this fun filled educational workshop, your campers will work collaboratively to solve the crime!

Session 6: July 31st - August 4th | 1 pm - 4 pm

 

Junior Master Chef

Each lesson will introduce your chef to a variety of diverse foods while they build their self-confidence and creativity in the kitchen. Campers will be challenged to create variations of recipes and they will bring home daily treats! At the end of this class, your chef will have an original cookbook complete with all the recipes from the week, along with a personalized item for your kitchen!

Junior Robotics

This popular course allows students to work on challenges and to gain collaborative skills! Set in our NEW innovation lab, campers will play with Lego NXT kits, Ozbots, Kinnex and more to complete challenges while working on their creativity and collaboration skills! Give your students an experience of a lifetime by building and programming robots, circuits and so much more!

Mad Scientists

Ever wonder why your hair sticks up when you rub it against a balloon? Or how a magician can suddenly make himself disappear? The answer is always physics! Discover the fascinating and practical world of science! This class will focus on different units of study such as projectiles, forces and energy. At the end of the week, a Physics Olympics will be held in which groups will compete in a variety of challenges!

Model Magic

This popular course allows students to get dirty and be creative! Working with model magic, and other forms of clay, campers will be challenged to test their creative abilities to create a variety of projects!

Musical Engineering

Do you play a musical instrument? Do you love singing? Would you like to record your own music? In this NEW course and using our NEW innovation lab, students will learn the basics of music production, sound engineering, and software editing. This is an interactive and hands-on course designed to give everyone the opportunity to record and produce music that they bring home on a cd.

Once Upon A Time

This course encourages children to express themselves creatively through free writing exercises, character development, and other various aspects of storytelling. Activities will be geared toward sparking your child’s creativity. Campers will leave this course with a published copy of their original works!

Perfect Party: Appetizers, Dips and Desserts

Sign up for one of our most popular course! Your chef will learn how to be the ideal host or hostess, learning different ways to prepare appetizers, dips, desserts and more! Your chef will leave our course not only with skills and confidence in the kitchen, but with a cookbook full of our recipes and a hand-decorated serving bowl!

Video Production 101

Technology has taken over- and through this course, campers will learn different ways to film, edit and enhance their videos! Campers will use our NEW innovation lab that includes a green screen and so much more! Campers work with a group to create, film and edit different skits, short movies, music videos and more. A DVD of the productions will be mailed out at the conclusion of this course.
